Last round of the Championship over, Brands Hatch to come
15/10/2008

Mallory Park last championship round over and a very good day was had by most. Unfortunatly Ian Buxton had a nasty bump and did not finish I believe he is OK and the best of luck goes with him. Secondly Furgus faied to appear and I do not know why? Furgus is an extreamly nice chap to have around Vee and he was sorly missed buy Team AHS at Mallory.
For the better news, the new car AHS Dominator ran quite well straight out of the box, we did not finish the car untill after scutes in the morning and the first wheel it ever turned was on its way out to practice. A few teething problems occured namly a miss fire no gears, and i could not reach the pedals besides that it was pritty good. The race was started from the pitlane and again the gearshift let me down ( i made this shifter and installed it Buggar ) but the miss fire was sorted, I pulled off on lap ten as was our plan and A big thums up to all who made the new car possible, Oxford Brooks, Jason, Richard, and last minute Steve O. The new car weighs in over 20 KG under weight so huge amounts of lead were added for the first outing.
Steve O had a good race, and the car worked better than we thought it would after the shunt it had at Snetterton, and James Conyers finihed with out incident, so happy faces alround and 2009 looms. Dont forget the AHS do 29th of Nov
