I have been in contact with Max this week and he gave me the low down on his accident. In his own words
I basically shattered my lower leg 4 months ago and suffered a complete open compound fracture of my right leg in the mid March,, believe it or not it involved a racing car.... now wait for it.... of the remote control variety.... I tripped on its wheel and fell over a large kerb.... yep its true.... stop laughing. 4 opperations later I still can't walk with out crutches, and have just had a tendon transfer in my right foot as it was partly paralyed, hopefully this is the last of it, as I also had the 3Kg metal pin and fixator removed last week.
And I thought I had all the bad luck!
I finally bit the bullet this week and invested in a new state of the art valve seat cutter, which is performing perfectly not like its owner, well hope alls well with you lot see you at Silverstone Alan
