The first 2 rounds are out of the way and not the best of starts for us, the highs were both Dans progressing very well and no damage, Steve Ough tested the new carbs and all went far better than expected, more of that when we get a little closer to a result. Dave Hodkins first run in his new Doninator started off very well. Paul Smith gained 2 top 5 places.
On the down side
Steve Ough had a broken wire in the first race and the accelorator cable came loose in the second, Dave Hodkins gearbox rolled a six on Sat and put him out for the weekend, Dan Pitchard developed a miss fire on Sunday in the race in 8th position, Tim Hills First drive in his new Challenger broke its gearbox and retired to the pub, Glyn Davis got caught napping and was not able to race.
So back to the grindstone we must do far better at Mallory!!
